Khan El-Khalili is a famous bazaar and souk in the heart of the Islamic district of Cairo, Egypt. It is known for its vibrant atmosphere, bustling streets, and historic architecture. The bazaar dates back to the 14th century and was named after a khan (caravan inn) built by Emir Djaharks el-Khalili in the 14th century. The bazaar is home to hundreds of shops selling various goods such as spices, textiles, perfumes, jewelry, and traditional crafts. It is also famous for its traditional coffeehouses and restaurants.
