The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest and oldest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis, Egypt. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue located in the Giza Necropolis, Egypt, on the west bank of the Nile River. It is the largest and most famous Sphinx, and it depicts a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre. The sphinx is carved out of a single piece of limestone and is 73 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 20 meters high. It is believed to have been built around 2500 BC.
