The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is believed to have been built over a 20-year period during the reign of Khufu. King Khufu (2609 BC – 2584 BC) left behind an enduring legacy with the construction of the Great Pyramid, which served as both his final resting place and portal to the heavens.
