This temples has two massive rock temples located in southern Egypt, near the border with Sudan. They were built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC and are considered one of ancient Egypt's most impressive architectural achievements. These two temples were relocated in the 1960s to avoid their flooding during the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
