The Philae Temple is an ancient temple located on the island of Philae in the Nile River in southern Egypt. It was built in the Ptolemaic period, between 305 BCE and 30 BCE, and was later expanded and modified during the Roman period. The temple was relocated in the 1970s due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam and the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Drive back to the hotel after this majestic tour.
