This Temple is an ancient Egyptian temple located in the city of Abydos, in the Upper Egyptian province of Sohag. It was built in the New Kingdom period, during the reign of Pharaoh Seti I, and was dedicated to the worship of the god Osiris, the god of the afterlife. In addition to its religious and artistic significance, this Temple is also considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt.

This temple is located in the city of Dendera, in the province of Qena in Upper Egypt. The temple was dedicated to the goddess Hathor and was built during the Ptolemaic period, around the 2nd century BC. The temple was later expanded and remodeled by the Roman emperor Tiberius. One of the most distinctive features of Dendera Temple is its well-preserved astronomical ceiling, which is considered one of the most complete and detailed records of ancient Egyptian astronomy. Dandara – Abydos Day Tour
The Dandara – Abydos Day tour from Luxor was awesome! Our guide explained all about what happened there several centuries ago; the paintings in temple of Abydos were just stunning! Also, air-conditioned vehicles and delicious meal were perfect.
