Itinerary

Full Description An excursion to Cairo with round-trip transfers from Hurghada lets you discover the "City of a Thousand Minarets.". On the long journey, enjoy views of the Gulf of Suez from the air-conditioned comfort of your car. The first of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World is the Giza Plateau, which your Egyptologist guide will take you to upon arrival. As you explore the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, you'll see breathtaking views of the Pyramids of Giza. Become familiar with the stories behind the temples' construction and their legends. The Great Sphinx is a giant statue of the Pharaoh Khafre with a lion's body and a reclining mythical beast. View the Pharaoh Khafre's Valley Temple opposite, thought to have been built in ancient times. After lunch, take a break at a local restaurant. Discover the artifacts at the Egyptian Museum with fast-track entry in Tahrir Square, then drive to central Cairo. This museum features over 120,000 masterpieces dating from the pre-dynastic to Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. It was designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon. Before your return transfer to Hurghada, discover the mummification art of Ancient Egypt.

Day Trip to Cairo and Giza

It was an immersion into ancient wonders. It was enlightening and unforgettable to be taken through the Pyramids of Giza with an Egyptologist.

Day Trip to Cairo

The dream came true when I embarked on the Hurghada Over Day Trip to Cairo and Giza. Every second from marveling at Khufu Pyramid to wandering around traditional bazaars in old Cairo was made more interesting by what we learned from our competent guide.

Perfect combination of past

We discovered ourselves in the busy markets and ancient sights of old Cairo before we got to the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square, where they made Egyptian history come alive. This trip was a perfect combination of past, culture and adventure; it will forever remain fresh in our minds.
